Week ending 10/16/07 was a bad week for LA Sports.
USC:
USC gets upset by Stanford. Stanford is a team which has won only game against San Jose State. USC Also looses it's number ranking and most likely its chance for a national title. It would be ironic, if Stanford doesn't win another game from this point on.

UCLA:
UCLA looses to Notre Dame. That game hurts UCLA in many ways. Not only is it a revenge game from last years heartbreaker, but ND was 0-5.

LOS ANGELES ANGELS:
The Angels have not played well against Boston for the last couple of years, but this series was one of their worst perfomances. To make matters worst, they did not go out with a fight. They lost the series final game 9 to 1. The bright side to this ending is that Angel fans have been yearning for a another power hitter to add to their line up. That lost will most likely encourage management to go after A-Rod.

I also have to add to all of the bad LA Sports news, Jerry Buss, the owner of the Lakers, woke up from the dead and mention in the press that he would trade Kobe and implied that he is accepting offers for the "Best Player in the NBA". Many LA fans are outraged. I personaly don't understand the fans who are suprised. Put yourself in Buss's shoes. If you were offered more at your job with an excellent package would you consider?
