Many of us have taken a foreign Language course with the intent to advance on the job, college credit or to get in to a College. We often walk away a year later not knowing a thing. There are many reasons why we forget. The biggest reason is interest and purpose. These classes also teach expressions that are too formal to use in every day language. When we speak and practice many native speakers are nice and patient. There are many who are laughing at us inside their head. For example, if I approached you and said "Greetings Sir, may I introduce myself". What would you think. Some of you may think that I am about to beg for money or ask another stupid question.
