This is a tough week for LA Sports Fans Both of our college teams are not consistent. We also start the NBA Season with a low expectations which includes Kobe Bryant trade rumors .
Many LA fans especially in the Orange County area are facing a much bigger issue than sports. "Fires" Captain Phil Rawlings of the Orange County Fire Authority said the Santiago Canyon fire, which had consumed more than 27,000 acres, or 11,000 hectares, was in an area that had not burned in decades, making its path difficult to predict and its intensity particularly acute.

By the time this Podcast is posted and many of you have heard this edition, the Boston Red Sox would have won the World Series. On this show Mr. Tracedizzle brings to his audience's attention of the possibility of three other Boston area teams winning championships (New England Patriots, Boston Celtics, and Boston College).
The Notre Dame football team is in state of Turmoil. The audio is parody which describes the program.
The biggest highlight for the program is the preseason. While teams like USC, LSU and Florida look foward to winning seasons and the preseason polls are just indicators of how they will perform.
The irony of all this, is that ND will be ranked high in the preseason next year also.
COLORADO ROCKIES:
Who is probaly the hottest team ever after sweeping the Diamonbacks in the NLCS and winning 21 of the last 22. This makes them probaly the hottest team ever. Would it bad be sad if they loose the World Series.
MARION JONES:
Comes clean and turns in her medals. Very great gesture, but there is a biger picture. Most of the other athletes in those same Olympics took some type of drug. The second place runner for example Ekaterini Thanou is also banned from Track & Field.. If mostly everyone took drugs, does it make it an equal playing field.
KOBE BRYANT:
Most Laker fans are naive to believe that no player is not tradeable. Some of the trade rumor scenarios are bad with the exception of a possble Bulls Deal which will possibly result in Ben Gordon, Deng, and Noah becoming a Laker.

Week ending 10/16/07 was a bad week for LA Sports.
USC:
USC gets upset by Stanford. Stanford is a team which has won only game against San Jose State. USC Also looses it's number ranking and most likely its chance for a national title. It would be ironic, if Stanford doesn't win another game from this point on.
UCLA:
UCLA looses to Notre Dame. That game hurts UCLA in many ways. Not only is it a revenge game from last years heartbreaker, but ND was 0-5. .
LOS ANGELES ANGELS:
The Angels have not played well against Boston for the last couple of years, but this series was one of their worst perfomances. To make matters worst, they did not go out with a fight. They lost the series final game 9 to 1. The bright side to this ending is that Angel fans have been yearning for a another power hitter to add to their line up. That lost will most likely encourage management to go after A-Rod.
I also have to add to all of the bad LA Sports news, Jerry Buss, the owner of the Lakers, woke up from the dead and mention in the press that he would trade Kobe and implied that he is accepting offers for the "Best Player in the NBA". Many LA fans are outraged. I personaly don't understand the fans who are suprised. Put yourself in Buss's shoes. If you were offered more at your job with an excellent package would you consider?

What more funny about the video is that there is a innmate playing the role as the girl in the video. Though interesting, Prisoners came up with the conclusion that more prisons should start a Dance Program. This is our 5th Episode of the Beatdown List. For all of you new listeners, the Beatdown list is a list that we compile weekly of the worst defeats in College and Pro Football. Our goal is not humilate team but to give recgonition to winners and loosers. I got a few complaints, but when it comes down to it. Winning is easy, but to finish a game especially when you are loosing by a lot takes a lot pride.

This list closes out the month of September with the following teams making the list as Beatdown recepients: Florida International, Charleston, Northwestern, and more suprise team.

It cost to be the boss. All of the commissioner of the major sports have major issues that will make or break their careers. Sterns has to deal with Ref issues, Selig has to deal wih Bonds and steriod, and Godell has to deal with Vick and off the field players issues. Even Hockey has an issue. Low fan interest and the lack of a network deal.
In this episdoe we talk about Vick and Donaghy, the ref known for gambling and possibly fixing games. What a coincedence, Donaghy issued almost more techinicals than any ref in the NBA.
Today me and my co-host Jay went the Weigh-In for the Margarito-Wlliams fight.. This fight is called Pride and Punishment. This fight is one of the key anticipated match ups for 2007. The winner of this fight will put himself in a situation to Mayweather or Cotto. Here's my prediction the winner will fight Cotto and the winner of the that will fight the winner of Hatton-Mayweather.
Both boxers looked well poised and made there weights with no problems. Margarito looked a little more relaxed and confident. After the weigh in Williams left and Margartio hung out with fans for about 30 minutes.
